2012 TAXI version
I offered $30 to a taxi driver in order to accompany him wherever he wished to drive.

The driver's first response was to laugh and tell me it's like I offered him to go on a walk. He agreed and we were off, first through Côte de Neiges, then across the mountain. The meter was never turned on.
We ended up chatting quite a bit about his past, (a musician in his youth) and bits about the neighborhoods we were crossing. We ended up driving for more than half an hour, at one point I thought we were lost.
The driver told me he didn't mind driving a bit more to drop me off at Parc metro, even if it was more than then agreed $30. He asked me at the end of the ride if this was it- the end of our conversation? I said yes, this was the end of the project. We both laughed. He said he was in a good mood and he was going to call it a day, and return home before sundown.

Departure: Queen Mary Road and Décarie Autoroute, Montreal
Drop off: Jean Talon Road and ave du Parc
