The concept of visiting was extended to GalleryTPW itself. Erika DeFreitas, the artist who had just previously exhibited before me, kindly agreed that I may keep the space as she left it, with some walls painted yellow and others white. The holes in the wall where her works were hung were not patched over. In this way, the exhibition holds a relation with the previous exhibition, and the gallery visitor is not simply visiting my exhibition but traces of DeFreitas’ exhibition as well.
