Visiting is a theoretical and poetic proposition to enable collaborative engagement with archives, one that deeply acknowledges the stakes as a white settler artist; to develop a methodology from the onset that is in relation to another. Visiting is a practice that seeks correspondence, while accounting for, as a white subject, the risk of trespass of another’s work, and the inevitable blind spots of working in relation.
